Bread Tag Collection - for wheelchairs

Small Tags, Big Impact: Help Us Turn Plastic into Mobility! ♿

Did you know that those tiny plastic bread tags you usually toss in the bin could be the key to someone’s independence? We are collecting bread tags to fund life-changing wheelchairs for those in need, and we need your help to reach our goal!

The Mission 🎯

Our target is to collect 300kg of plastic bread tags. That sounds like a lot—and it is! It takes approximately 600,000 tags to make this dream a reality. Every single tag counts toward a set of wheels for someone in our community.

How You Can Help 🍞

It’s simple! Instead of throwing away your bread tags, save them in a jar or a bag. Once you’ve gathered a handful (or a mountain!), drop them off with us!

What to save: Any plastic bread tags (all colors welcome!).

Where to drop them: The Surf Hq, 65 Sylvester Ntuli Road, Durban

Why Bread Tags? ♻️

These tags are made of high-density plastic that is perfect for recycling. By recycling them, we achieve two things:

  1. Keep plastic out of landfills and our oceans.
  2. Raise essential funds to purchase wheelchairs for people who otherwise couldn't afford them.

Don't throw away a life-changing opportunity. Save your tags and help us roll toward a better future!

Spread the word! Tell your neighbors, your local schools, and your favorite coffee shops. Let’s hit that 300kg mark together!
